APAKAH FILM KARTUN BAIK BAGI ANAK?

Ada banyak film kartun yang bagus buat anak. Yang bisa ditonton di TV ataupun di komputer yah. Tinggal bagaimana sebagai orang tua memilihkan sarana yang tepat buat anak. Hal ini akan membuat proses belajar mudah dan menyenangkan, baik bagi anak maupun orang tua.

Film kartun identik dengan tokoh khayalan di dalamnya. Menurut psikolog anak, Tony Buzan, yang buku-bukunya terjual laris manis di seluruh dunia, bahwa tiap otak dilahirkan untuk berfantasi. Otak anak dalam keadaan yang masih relatif murni, mampu berfantasi dalam sebuah keadaan yang luar biasa jelasnya.

Dalam otak anak, penciptaan teman khayalan adalah sebuah proses yang sama persis dengan apa yang digunakan oleh para penulis dongeng terkenal, penulis cerita film seperti Star Trek, Mickey Mouse, dll.

Apa sih manfaat teman khayalan yang dimiliki oleh anak?

• Mereka melatih dimensi majemuk dari imajinasi anak.
• Mereka menjadi tokoh nyata yang dapat memerankan situasi kehidupan nyata yang “direka-reka” oleh anak.
• Mereka berperan sebagai pendamping yang bisa diajak berdiskusi tentang hal-hal yang intim oleh anak.
• Tokoh-tokoh khayalan, seperti juga hewan peliharaan, “selalu penuh pengertian”.
• Teman khayalan memberikan pertemanan yang nyata, bukan sekedar bayangan. Penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa reaksi otak terhadap citra nyata yang tertangkap oleh mata di dunia luar dan citra internal yang dibentuk oleh imaginasi, di segala tingkatan termasuk tingkat molekul/muskuler, benar-benar hal yang identik.
• Mereka melatih anak untuk bahagia saat berada sendirian di tengah pikirannya, sekaligus bisa mengembangkan kecerdasan kreatif, kecerdasan intrapersonal, dan kecerdasan interpersonalnya.
• Mereka mendorong rasa percaya diri, sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh teman baik.
